Amslee’s 30+ adjunct faculty members are subject matter experts in their respective fields with advanced degrees and experience combined with a passion for childcare.

Amslee course instructors are child psychologists, lawyers, physician assistants, dietitians, musicians, literary authors, nutritionists, teachers, fitness coaches, nurses, artists, career coaches, veterinarians, and professional nannies.

Kerri Beisner

Kerri Beisner earned a Master of Education in Moderate Learning Disabilities K-8 from Endicott College, a Bachelor of Art in English from the University of Connecticut. Licensure in Moderate Learning Disabilities K-8, English 5-8, ESL K-12, and certification in Orton Gillingham Phonics Instruction. She is a published author with The National Association of Special Education Teachers and a children’s book, The Nightluns Stone.

Dr. Tali Berkovitch

Dr. Tali Berkovitch earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Teaching and Learning from New York University, a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education from New York University, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from City University of New York, Brooklyn College. She is a Lead Nursery Teacher, Coach, and Curriculum Designer.

Elena Borrelli

Elena Borrelli earned a Masters of Science in Physician Studies from the University of Detroit Mercy and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Oakland University. She is a Licensed Physician Assistant (PA), Online Academic Medical Advisor, and Founder of Family Branches a non-profit for underprivileged children.

Sereniti Bradley

Sereniti Bradley earned an Educational Specialist in Educational Leadership for Teaching and Learning from Walden University, a Master of Business Administration from Baker College, and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Bethune-Cookman University. She is a Florida teacher in Elementary Education (K-6), Biology (6-12), and ESOL.

Aaron Brandel

Aaron Brandel earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami, a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Hamline University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Binghamton University. He is licensed to practice law in Minnesota.

Shaundra Boyd

Shaundra Boyd earned a Master of Art in Early Childhood Education from the University of Phoenix, a Master of Art in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor in Business Administration from Fort Valley State University. She is a Georgia Teacher and Start Certified Trainer.

Gregory Cassiere

Gregory Cassiere earned a Master of Art in Early Childhood Education from Mercy College and Bachelor of Art in Political Science from Fordham University. He has a Certificate in Special Education K-6. He’s a New York City public and private teacher with TEFL and TESOL Certifications and has taught High School English and Career Services Teacher as well as English to non-English speakers in Southeast Asia.

Dr. Alaina Desjardin

Dr. Alaina Desjardin earned a Doctorate of Business Administration from Northcentral University, a Masters of Public Administration from Ashford University, a Masters of Arts in Teaching in Special Education from New Jersey City University, a Masters of Urban Education with specialization in Leadership from New Jersey City University. Her licenses include New Jersey Certified Educational Principal, New Jersey Certified Educational Supervisor, New Jersey Certified Teacher of Students with Disabilities, and New Jersey Certified K-6 Generalist Teacher.

Michelle Dragalin

Michelle Dragalin earned an Educational Specialist in Educational Technology from Walden University, a Master of Education from the University of Phoenix, a Bachelor of Art in Special Education from Old Dominion University, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Bemidji State University. She is a Texas elementary school teacher (PK-8) and a Colorado elementary and special education teacher.

Caring for children is challenging and communication is so important. Communication strengthens the relationships between childcare providers, parents, and children.

Christine Ducz

Christine Ducz earned a Master of Arts in Education and Curriculum Instruction from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Centenary University. She is a New Jersey English teacher and reading specialist.

As a child, I struggled with phonics and reading, so my family and teacher decided I should repeat kindergarten. After additional support, I became a voracious reader, and am dedicated to helping other struggling readers.

Dr. Lauren Formy-Duval

Dr. Lauren Formy-Duval earned a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University, a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from North Carolina State University. She is a Licensed Psychologist with a private clinical practice.

Through my career as a psychologist and through parenting my own two children I've developed a deep appreciation for all the complexities of childcare. I'm excited to share my knowledge with Amslee students to help enrich their skill-sets!

Kathryn Gonsalves

Kathryn Gonsalves earned a Master of Art in Psychology from Humboldt State University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Campbell University. She is a Virginia teacher and psychology instructor.

Annemarie Guertin

Annemarie Guertin earned a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Fitchburg State University and a Bachelor of Art in Early Childhood Education from Wheelock College. She is a public school teacher in Massachusetts and children’s book author, “How the Finch Got His Colors.”

Chelsea Herndon

Chelsea Herndon earned a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education and Educational Specialist in Elementary Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is a certified teacher in grades pre-school through 6th grade, a previous elementary teacher in Alabama and Washington, DC and currently a doctoral student at Auburn University.

Dr. Ken James

Dr. Ken James earned a Doctorate and Education Specialist in Teaching and Learning from Liberty University, a Master of Art in School Counseling from Valdosta State University, and a Bachelor Degree in General Studies from Valdosta State University. He is a Teacher in Georgia.

I'm having a wonderful career teaching children as well as raising 4 of my own. As I now have grandchildren, I'm fortunate I can focus on college level training to help the next generation of teachers, caregivers, and parents.

Jessica Lofton

Jessica Lofton earned a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University, a Graduate Certificate in Business from Cameron University, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and Business Administration from North Carolina Wesleyan College. She is a business, technology, and education adjunct instructor in North Carolina.

Elizabeth Malson

Elizabeth Malson earned a Master of Science in Pharmaceuticals from the University of Southern California, a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina, and a Bachelor of Science from North Carolina State University. She is a PADI certified Emergency First Responder Instructor and Master Scuba Diver Trainer.

Helping Nannies and Sitters with affordable and high quality training is an important way to help elevate the profession while supporting families and providing practical skills to improve the lives of children.

Marlene Malson

Marlene Malson earned a Master of Science in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas, is a Graduate of the United States Air Force Air War College, and earned a Bachelor of Arts from West Virginia University. She is a retired USAF Financial Management and Cost Analyst.

Dr. Alexandra Murr

Dr. Alexandra Murr earned a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from University of Toledo, a Master of Science in Nursing from University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Art in Art from Buffalo State College. She is a Board Certified Nurse Executive in New York.

Staying healthy is important as we all manage busy schedules. I remind myself of this everyday as I balance helping others and being a great mom to my young daughter, who I'm raising with my husband.

Sarah Olson

Sarah Olson earned a Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University and a Bachelor of Art in Criminal Justice from Mercyhurst College. She is a Global Career Development Facilitator Certification from National Career Development Association and a Community College Career Center Specialist, Adjunct Professor, and Career Coach.

Karli Ortmann

Karli Ortmann earned a Master of Art in Counseling from Chicago Professional School of Psychology (expected in 2020) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Xavier University. She has been a Professional Nanny for over 10 years.

Jena Paulo

Jena Paulo earned Master of Science in Education from California State University and a Bachelor of Art in Human Development from California State University.  She is a Head Preschool teacher, Preschool Director, and Online College Instructor.

Darrin Prince

Darrin Prince earned a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Faith Bible College and a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and Science/Business Administration.  He has a USATF (USA Track & Field) Level 1 Coaching Certification, NASE (National Association of Speed & Explosion) Level II Speed and is an Explosion Specialist. He is a Collegiate Coach of more than 700 athletes, spent 17 years in the US Army, and is a licensed and ordained Minister of the Gospel.

Denise Richardson

Denise Richardson earned a Master of Education in Leadership of Educational Organizations from American InterContinental University and a Bachelor of Art in Elementary Education from Trinity International University of Florida. She is the Program Director of Children Services for a Learning Center in Florida.

Dr. Jennifer Rodriquez-Bosque

Dr. Jennifer Rodriquez-Bosque earned a Doctor of Health Science from Nova Southeastern University, a Master of Science in Nutrition and Wellness from Benedictine University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from University of Puerto Rico. She has been a Licensed Dietitian for ten years working with children in clinical and community settings.

Andrea Sammons

Dr. Beth Stutzmann

She is a college curriculum content developer in Georgia.

Allison Winkelmann earned a Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Texas. She is certified by the Nutritional Therapy from the Health Sciences Academy.  She is a youth soccer coach, youth and adult fitness trainer, and wellness coach.

Lynn Zepp

Dr. Patricia Ziefle
